What does a First-Time visit look like?
When you call or schedule online, our front desk will help find a time that fits your schedule and answer any insurance questions. If you’d like to save time at check-in, you can find the forms on our Patient Resources page.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the front desk and guided through anything else we need. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and our team is happy to answer questions along the way.
You’ll start with digital X-rays and photos, followed by a one-on-one exam with our dentist. We’ll check your teeth, gums, and overall oral health, and discuss any concerns or goals you may have. If no deep cleaning is needed, a standard cleaning and polish will be done during the same visit.
Before you leave, we’ll walk through any next steps and provide a clear treatment plan with estimated costs. Most first visits take about an hour, and parking is easy and free right outside our Oceanside office.
Do you accept emergency dental visits in Oceanside?
Yes! Our new patient forms can be completed online through our secure Patient Resources page. Submitting forms ahead of time helps speed up your check-in and allows us to focus on your care the moment you arrive. Prefer to fill them out in person? No problem – just get here 10 to 15 minutes early and we’ll provide printed copies.
What dental insurance do you accept?
We work with most major PPO insurance plans and are happy to help you understand what’s covered prior to your visit. If you’re not sure whether we accept your plan, just give us a call and we’ll walk you through it!
Do you offer relief for dental anxiety?
Absolutely! Our team is trained to support patients with dental anxiety at every step of their visit. We create a calm, respectful environment, take things at your desired pace, and offer the following options:
– Clear communication and step-by-step explanations
– Calming techniques such as breathing cues and breaks on request
– Wireless headphones, blankets, and other comfort items
– Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for relaxation during treatment
